General information
Health Administration handles the administrative functions of the department and its programs, including but not limited to the areas of budget, contracts, finance, grants, Health Board, personnel, purchasing, safety, and staff recruitment, retention and training. Health Administration also oversees the Health Impact Assessment Program, which analyzes public health impacts from oil and gas projects on the North Slope.
